RR First Aid Course - Updates! By: The Boss No comments

Good day rangers!

The weekend is hereeeeee!!! Wooohooo!!! Tell me, aint that a reason to party on??? Just got back from Friday night bible class in church! For those that have yet to register or have no idea what I'm talking about...which hole did you hide yourself in??? Anyway, its still not too late to sign up ok? So come and be blessed and equipped by God's ever-powerful Word!

Just to give you an update on what's been happening...seems like everyone's busy with something these days eh? Well, last Saturday, on the 28th of June, RR Sel #6 organized a certified First Aid Course - CPR for the RR leaders, E-Rangers and church members of GT Klang. The objective of this course was to equip the people with fundamentals of first-aid treatment and to also train them in CPR skills. Trust me, this could save a life one day!

It was truly a fun, educational, and memorable day learning about the skills and practical side of CPR and mouth-to-mouth first-aid skills. Everyone had the opportunity to practice these skills on our two favourite dummies...and it was an honour for us to have Cmdr. Mike Kuna come and teach us this session. A qualified and certified trainer, he taught us the importance of being equipped with this knowledge. At the end of the course, everyone sat for the theory test, that would qualify the ranger to earn the Gold merit First Aid - CPR award. As for the results, I'll keep that a secret for now...I heard some DID pass the test. :)

And so friends....remember, your actions could hold the destiny of another person, change their world forever and save a soul (literally) for Jesus! And as for those who didn't do too well in the exam, keep a lookout for the next round of exam questions...and for Pete's sake, please do some studying before you come ok???
