And so friends...another year has come and gone. 20 years. What an amazing testament to God's faithfulness! Its going to be a long one, trust me...This exclusive 20th anniversary post is specially dedicated to the leaders - who has served faithfully all throughout the years, to the rangers - for being the very reason we serve and exist, and most importantly...to our Master Ranger, for being our sustainer, our redeemer and our strength right from the beginning.
Almost 2 weeks has passed since we celebrated our 20th Rangers Anniversary on the 15th of Sept 2007. For those of you who missed it, those abroad, those in different lands...I hope by the end of this post, you'll be able to experience a taste of what a special night it was for the many rangers who came together to celebrate a special night that will forever remain close to their hearts...I'll run through with you everything that happened during that special night. Hope you'll be blessed by the story and pics!

Our Chaplain, Pas. Cmdr. Gideon Leeeeeee.....(his title is getting longer and longer...). Facts for you: Did you know that he was our former Sr. Cmdr of RR from year 2000 - 2005?
Don't you think we have the finest looking lady commanders in the whole of Malaysia??? No arguments from me this time...:)
And so friends, after months of preparation...it was time for the show to begin! Hope you'll enjoy the opening video, made by Cmdr. Ben Yee! Try imagining this...you're up there in the sanctuary taking a seat, laughing, talking to your friends...and then the lights dim...(Ok, now you can play the video...)
Man...I had a real fun time making noise every time the years started counting up to 2007! That really got the people excited and expecting more. Well, we didn't disappoint them...
Up next was the opening ceremony march-in led by our current Sel #6 Best Rangers (2006-2007): Simon Yap, Brandon Yee, Tessa Lim and Kevin Chin. Accompanying them is our flagbearers - Kelly Yap, Simon Kong and William Ong. And they did a fantastic job marching to the beat of Joe Satriani's Top Gun theme music.

The final part of the opening ceremony involved ranger Simon Yap (the small guy in the middle) leading the entire outpost and congregation in our Ranger's Pledge recitation.

Councilmen Stewart delivering the opening speech on behalf of the RR Council.
Here's Pas. Lau sharing with us his short message for the night. I strongly believe that the key to a successful RR program in churches is the Pastor. Over the years, we are blessed to have pastors that were supportive of this ministry, and saw the potential it has in transforming lives and building up leaders for the present and future.
And yes...finally it was time for the Council of Achievement! The time that every ranger and leader have been waiting all year long! This year's COA had some added spices to it, which included the faces of the rangers and awards earned displayed on the projector screen. Pretty cool stuff! I was impressed....My apologies for not being able to display the pic of every ranger that received their awards that night. Once again, a big congrats to every ranger! You all did tremendously well this year...
Here's Daniel Lim from the Ranger Kids age group receiving his award from Councilman Desmond Ong...

And lastly, Cmdr. Reuben with his Outpost Commander's Medal - 1st Year
Not too long ago, we had our very own Sel #6 Best Ranger testing...pretty gruelling stuff, I must say. Dont believe me? Ask the rangers...haha. Well, we've put together a short video of some of the stuff that happened during the testing day, together with comments from the rangers. Also, do enjoy the testimonies from certain individuals who has been blessed tremendously by the RR ministry, all through the years...enjoy, pals!
Haha...dont you think Lucas was just sooooooooo cuteeeeee??? Man, I couldn't stop laughing everytime I hear him speak...emotions, first aid...heh!
And now, it was finally time to reveal the Sel #6 Best Rangers for year 2007 - 2008! It was a close fight for some age groups, and clear winners for some. Nevertheless, a big pat on the back for all the rangers who participated in this year's testing. Certainly an interesting experience for them...once again, congrats to the winners! You guys truly deserve it...
Here's Cmdr Kyleen together with Cmdr Jeffrey (Sr. Cmdr from 1995 - 2000), as they present the awards to the Best Rangers....
Best Ranger Kid : Ranger Nicole Chee....clap clap!
Best Discovery Ranger : Ranger Lucas Chee!! Did you know that he's our official mascot for Sel #6??? Trust me...you wont find any cuter...
"So Lucas, tell me something...everything patched up between you and Cmdr. Kyleen?" Watch the video and you'll know why...haha
Best Adventure Ranger : 'Little' Michelle Lee! She may be little...but she's stands tall, for sure!
And finally, the Best Expedition Ranger award goes to...Ranger William Ong! Well done, bro...I must tell you, this guy worked hard over the past 2 years to earn this medal. And he truly deserves it! Who's da man?? He's DA MAN!
Congrats to all the winners. As what Cmdr. Jeffrey has said, "Wear the name tag proudly...wear the uniform proudly for Him. Always carry the name of our outpost well..."
Also, we had a small little surprise for 2 very special individuals who has been in the RR Sel #6 ministry for the past 20 years! Friends, I'm telling you...that takes commitment and lots of sacrifice at time. Someone told me this...every mornings before Mother Theresa goes out to care for the poor and the sick, she always prays this prayer to God. "Lord, in all that I do, I do not pray for success, but I pray for faithfulness..." That simple prayer says a lot. In our own outpost, we are blessed to have committed leaders who have continued to serve Him faithfully, year after year. And this night, we wanted to specially thank and appreciate them for the years of service, faithfulness and decidation.
The 1st recepient of this special award goes to Cmdr. Theresa Chin. She started out in the Pioneer age group way back in 1987, and now the Outpost Cmdr for the Discovery Girls age group. A tremendous blessing to the outpost....
The 2nd receipeint goes to Cmdr. Jason Ponniah. Truly, a man of faithfulness. He joined RR as a Buckaroo back in 1987, and is now serving as the Outpost Cmdr for the Adventure Boys age group. Well done, bro...
Up next was a special presentation by the Expedition Rangers and friends...here we see William, Shaun and Kevin on the percussion. They aptly named themselves...the 'Precious Eggs' team! ??? Oh btw, Cmdr. Andy also shared his testimony before the song presentation. Ever heard a man speak from his heart? I did...and I was moved deeply.
Here's the ER boys in action, led by Jason Ong...in the backgroud was flashes of the lyrics together with photos of rangers from the past and present...the song presented is titled 'Pass It On'. If you were in RR long enough, you'll probably know this song...
This presentation was special...the candlelight settings, the passing of flames, unplugged acoustic performance...simply beautiful!
Finally, it was time for Chief to come and share with us and challenge us to do greater things ahead for God! Like I said, if he wasn't a pastor today, he'd probably be a soldier, a fisherman, or a fish... Good stuff, cmdr!
The leaders of Sel #6. Average age : 24 years old. Dedicated to the call, committed to serve, Ready to bless His people! As Sr. Cmdr, I could not have asked for a better bunch of leaders. I'm honoured to serve alongside each one of them...
The rangers standing alongside their commanders during the special time of prayer for the commanders.
No anniversary celebration would be complete without a cake...and when we do things, we do it GREAT! Just check out that cake, wei...talk about a huge load of brownies!! Many thanks to Grace Loh for tasting, trying, tasting again, re-trying, and finally buying the right cake for the night! And talk about huge candles....whoaa...
Somehow, for one moment...it felt a bit weird. Felt a bit like they were celebrating my birthday....:)
Well friend...we've finally come to the end of the celebration. But for some, the party has just begun...balloons falling from the ceiling? Fun way to to bring the night to a close!
Here's the Adventure Girls looking oh-so-gooooood in our very own brand new hot-from-the-oven Sel #6 RR T-shirt! Get them soon for only RM12. Keep a lookout for the next grand sale launch in Oct!
Time for some payback @ brotherly love...
Time for Round 2 at the mamak! Wooo hoo!!
Selangor #6 - His Faithfulness For A Lifetime...
And so, we've come to the end of the post. I hope you've had a good time going through the Anniversary celebration, as we relived the memories from that night. Once again, a biggy THANK YOU to all the rangers, leaders, past leaders and friends that came together to make all of these happen. Without each and everyone of you, none of this would have been possible. Everything went so well that night, it was way beyond my expectation...just some minor glitches, like a couple of balloons that refused to fall from the ceiling...and some that just refused to burst! Haha...
Our heartfelt appreciation to our fellow rangers and leaders from Sel #1, Sel #7 and KL #1 who came to support this event. We are blessed and encouraged by your presence. Continue to keep the fire burning and pass on the flame. God bless!
Not forgetting...many thanks also to the parents of the rangers, for having faith in the RR ministry and seeing the potential it has to shape the lives of children and youths for His kingdom. We thank you for entrusting us with your children every Sunday from 1.30pm - 3.30pm. And God willing, we will continue to do our best to serve, lead and build them up to fulfill the destiny that God has in store for them, for as long as we exist.
I'm saving my final thank you to One who saw things right from the beginning, who placed this ministry in our churches, who birthed the vision and desire for RR in our hearts 20 years ago, to the One who makes the impossible become possible...Thank you, Lord. We could never stop counting your goodness and faithfulness in our lives. All we can do is to say "Thank You, Lord" and continue to serve you, our Master Ranger.
Its been an amazing journey...God bless you and have a great weekend!
Whatever you do, where ever you are....dont miss this for the world!
Sunday, 23rd Sept 2007
Old Trafford, Manchester
Join in the 76,000 fans in the Theatre of Dreams and millions of fans worldwide, as we witness the biggest game of the season so far...
A misfiring-United team that is slowly making its way up the table going against a Mourinho-less Chelsea. How much will that affect their star-studded players, we'll wait and see...
Avram Grant, you're in for one real battle this time...
Manchester United vs Chelsea FCMy predictions: Its going to be a close one. Both teams have been scoring goals as often as a comet strikes earth. I think its going to be a 1-0...United to pip it. Football pundits are going for a 1-1 draw. Whats your take, lads?
Have a blast of a weekend...and for your future's sake, please don't forget to study! :)
Yeap...talk about football drama! Desperate Housewives doesn't even come close to this...haha. A night where finally some British clubs were making strides on the European scene...and this friend of Alfonso d'Alburquerque just had to steal the show la! The (dreaded) news that everyone was waiting for...finally, the Special One bids farewell to Chelsea! Well, not really a surprise to many, just that the timing was kinda' odd...esp when you've got the biggest game of the season happening this weekend...I'll get to that soon enough!
Love him, loathe him...we'll definitely miss him. I know I will. But then again, I dont think we've seen the last of him in English football. Its speculation time!! Ahh...dont we just love these sort of things...
There's two big questions lingering in everyone's mind at the moment...
1) Who's going to take over Chelsea?
2) Which club will Mourinho manage next?
Well...your guess is as good as mine. But hey, always plenty of fun and football talk when it comes to stuff like these. Let's try to go through the questions one by one. And hey, you're welcome to rebuff my opinions. Let's say that 'we agree to disagree'...:)
Question 1...who's taking over? Well, of late, all the news and focus has been on Roman's good friend, Mr. Guus Hiddink. Currently the coach of Russian national team. But hey, let's be honest...this guy definitely belongs up there with the big boys. Highlly experienced, coached the Australian team during the last World Cup, put on some good displays. In my opinion, he looks like the man for the job.
Next candidate...Fabio Capello! Currently jobless after leaving the Bernabeau in the summer. Looks like a very high profile target too. Highly experienced, won many trophies with clubs all over Europe, certainly has what it takes to be in charge at Stamford Bridge. Not forgetting, if he does come in...you just might see a whole load of Italians making their way out of Italy and crossing into English territory...
Third candidate...hmm...this is a tough one...but I'm going with another Italian...Marcello Lippi! Yeap...the cigar man. Tough looking fella, white hair, loves to smoke...looks good in Chelsea too. But maybe its a bit of a longshot for him...that's why he's my 3rd choice.
And lastly...this is a surprise...another candidate running for the post at Chelsea...Shaun Lim! Woo hoo!! Hails from the land of beautiful football (Kota Kemuning), and besides...he just got his driving license! Has been performing consistently well over the years in Championship Manager 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07...football knowledge so-so la.., but tactics-wise, not too bad. Always manages to wake up around 3.45am and sneak up late at night to watch Champions League on tv without getting caught by his parents. Definitely a plus point. It shows commitment. But surprisingly, always difficult to wake up for school...
Anyway, jokes aside...which club next for Mourinho?
Haha...I'm looking at Tottenham Hotspurs! These poor puppies really need divine intervention to help resurrect their crumbling season. And Mourinho looks like the man to get things going. Off with Jol...he can havea a jolly good time. Oh oh...but make sure to sell Berbatov over to MU first...Looks like MU better buy K. Sanbagamaran in the mean time to help score goals...:)
Other than that, I dont see him going to any other high-profile club in English football. Fergie aint leaving just yet, neither is Wenger. Benitez ain't done yet with converting Liverpool into a full-fledged Spanish national side. Newcastle? Nah.
Hmm...what about Real Madrid? You'll never know...keep a close watch at the end of the season!
Before I end this post...let me quote Mourinho's famous words during his first interview with the Englist press...
"I won the European Cup. I'm not just any bottle on the shelf. Therefore I think I'm the Special One..."
Well said...well said...take a bow, Mr. Jose! Till then friends, keep the speculations coming!
To all the Chelsea fans...MU fans will accept you with arms wide open...
How's everyone doin? Ahh...scenes from the anniversary's still playin' in my mind! It was just awesome, dudes..
Anyway, for those who missed it or want to relive some of the moments, over the next few days I'm gonna try to upload as many of the videos, slideshows and blogpost regarding our RR Sel #6 20th Annievrsary celebration. So please bear with me as I try to get everything done asap. Just in case you're wondering what happened to the sales of the new RR t-shirt, we will be re-launching our sales campaign at the start of RR on the 1st Sunday in November 2007! If you really can't wait that long, you can always come see me over the weekend and get your tee!
So here it is...the photo album of RR Sel#6, right from the very beginning...
Hi, I'm Daniel. Think you know me well enough? Well, this is my story...
I’ve joined Royal Rangers for almost 15 years now. From the years of buckaroos to pioneers, trailblazers, trailrangers… Actually, I’ve got to admit that I didn’t want to join rangers at first but I was forced by my parents, so reluctantly I joined when I was 7. However, after joining rangers, I started liking it so much (games, ropecraft, firecraft, devotions and etc). I’ve learnt so many things in Royal Rangers; cooking, organising camps&events, camping skills, leadership, respecting others, and also the word of God.
During all these years in rangers, the thing that has impacted me the most is the Royal Rangers Motto: “Ready, Ready for Anything!, Ready to Work, Play, Serve, Worship, Live, Obey God's Word and I think that as christians, this is very important. We’ve got to be ready for everything in our life and be ready to do what god has called us to do.
The Royal Rangers ministry has blessed me in so many ways. It has help me to grow mentally, spiritually and socially. So I just want to thank the Royal Rangers ministry, all the commanders and also all my friends in Royal Rangers for all the things that you have done for me and the ministry. I really appreciate it.
God bless you all...and the Wallabies! Go AUSTRALIA!!!
"No matter what the devil says to me, I'm not listening..."
Daniel is currently pursuing his Business studies in Australia. Aiming to be the next Trump...or trumpet. Without him there, Australia would be a much quiter and peaceful nation...:)
Royal Rangers, what does those two words mean to me. It’s amazing what one man’s vision from God can do to so many lives. Mine included. With the aim to reach, teach and keep, this ministry and its leaders have done me a great deal in my development. Like the representation of the four gold points, it has grown me, physically, spiritually, mentally and even socially.
Friendships built in the rangers program, lasts, even till today. Well, not so many years down the roads. The memories, the fun, the mentors that came in forms of different commanders throughout the years. Cmdr. Desmond, Cmdr. Kean Mun, Cmdr. Vasu, Cmdr. Gideon, Cmdr. Jeffrey, and those are only the outpost commanders I’ve been with! Its taught me how to set goals ,a sense of respect, a sense of discipline, to lead, to share, and a sense of pride of what Royal Rangers represents. The master ranger Himself.
My first round-up, 6th Selangor BSA Round up at Sri Lethia, to the effort of surviving a night with ants at survival camp, outpost meetings over at the chicken rice place, drilling in the hot sun, to the attack of the poor souls with fireworks years after that. These experiences, no matter how insignificant they may seem at the time, got me ready for the world out there in times to come. Ready for anything! To serve, to work, to play, to serve, to worship, to live with integrity , to obey God’s word, and most importantly to be ready to stand up as a child of God when it counts. I would never be the person I am today without Royal Rangers. Stick to it. It counts.
Live knowing that Christ is Lord with pride yet with the humbleness He portrayed, wear the emblem for what it represents with respect of the boys it has made men and the God it upholds. Be Ready.
Ok.so. that wasn’t really funny and such. Was afraid to offend some people. Haha. But I’ll leave you with a lil something that should give you a few tickles…
Rangers, ready for anything. Rangers ready to eat anything, anywhere
Rangers, ready for anything. Rangers ready to sleep anytime, anywhere
Big shout out to all my rangers commanders! (in order of service):
Outpost Commanders : Cmdr. Desmond, Cmdr Choong Kean Mun, Cmdr. Victor Vasu, Cmdr. Suresh Kumar, Cmdr Gideon Lee, Cmdr. Jason Ponniah, Cmdr. Jeffrey Lim Lt./Jr. Commanders : Nelson Woo, Steven Ng, Mark Law, Reuben Ponniah, Collin Chin
Cmdr. Irvin is currently pursuing his studies in New Zealand. His ambition is to be a shepard...and chase sheeps all day long. One of the most active contributors in the RR Forum. Thank you for putting Sel #6 on the world map!
First of all, RR Anniversary was a blast!! Man...I was sooooo excited and happy that everything went on superbly! Stay tuned for the post soon enough...need to get the pics from Jon soon!
Here's another sharing from the heart...this time from the bigger Chin...:)
Greetings from Melbourne!
First of all, blessed 20th Anniversary! Sadly I can’t be there in person to celebrate this joyous occasions but I will be there in Spirit.. haha!
I practically grew in rangers, ever since it started and I’ve never regretted it. I can confidently say that Royal Rangers has greatly impacted my life, from as young as 6 years old (that’s when I joined) till now. I’ve been mentored, nurtured, disciplined and trained by various leaders at different stages of life and I thank God for them. Without them, there will not be "Me" today.
Apart from all the fun, awards, medals, camps, mission trip, & so on, one thing I missed the most is the fellowship with my bro n sis in Christ. They’ve made me feel like part of another wonderful family. When I was at my lowest peak of my life, they were there supporting n praying for me.
Now even though I’m away in Australia, I will do whatever I can to be part of this great ministry. I greatly believe that this ministry will impact many more young children because this ministry FIRST believed in ME."
Rangers has always been a big and very important part of my life. I joined rangers when i was 7 years old. Well, i can't remember very much about my early years in rangers but during my teenage years, Rangers played a very significant role in my life. Apart from all the outdoor activities, camping, hiking that rangers had to offer, it was also a place where i found a sense of belonging. I guess the uniform made me feel 'exclusive'. It certainly gave me a sense of belonging. Being a teenager, it was certainly important to feel belonged. Rangers has also given me a good foundation to grow mentally, physically, spirtuallty and socially.
I have always enjoyed all the camps. The camping skills and leadership skills that i got from all the rangers camp served to make me a more confident person. There is definitely no doubt that ranger has blessed me in many ways. Now, serving as a rangers commander, I always find it a blessing and a joy to be able to bless the younger teens the same my commanders have done for me. One thing about rangers, and I believe that alot of you would feel the same, is that as a commander, you will always be a commander no matter what happens. Up till today, when i see my commanders, I would still call them "Commander" and still look up to them as examples. I would always remember the question that Cmdr Jeffery Lim used to ask all of us... "What is your legacy?"... and for me my legacy is giving back to rangers what rangers has given me until God calls me to somewhere else. :) God bless!
~ Cmdr. Kenny Chin ~
Cmdr. Kenny is currently pursuing his studies in Tasmania, Australia and will be back in RR Sel#6 in 2008. A dedicated leader, His love for God and His people, an outrageously talented person, a strong grasp on ranger's skills and knowledge, and a servant-attitude makes him one of the most naturally-gifted leader that I've served with and a joy to be around. Truly, a man after God's heart...
Less than 72 hours to go! RR 20th Anniversary...this Saturday! All are welcomed! Yess..I'm talking about you...
Its been an interesting journey for me personally...and as I was preparing the things for this Sat, I stumbled across some interesting photos...which I felt that i REALLLLY needed to share with all of you! Man...this is good stuff!
I think this photo was taken was back in the 90s...obviously! Here's the catch...try to figure out who's who in the pic below. Dont these kids look sooooo adorable and cute??? When you look at them today...you might ask "What in the world happen to all the cute-ness???" Haha...
Have fun brainstorming!
Here's my guess (from L to R) : Irvin, Nicholas Ho, Jayson Phuan, Ben Yee, Shaun!!!, ???, and finally..David Raj!!
What an amazing bunch of dudes...Males of the Century, I would say! Haha...
So...another milestone achieved in our lives...FINALLY, we got the chance to go for a Paintball match among the rangers and commanders after talking about it for about a year. And let me tell you...we had so much fun that it hurts, literally! Read on and you'll find out soon enough...
And so, about 18 rangers, commanders and friends joined in for our 1st E-Rangers Paintball bash on the 25th of Aug 2007. What to do...even as Merdeka was getting closer, everyone felt really patriotic that we needed to shoot one another. And hey, there's nothing more cool than being able to shoot your fellow rangers and leaders once a while and colouring them orange, leaving behind scars that will last for some time. Its like.."Here's one for you...", or "Payback time!" Hehe...all in the name of Paintball. Real stress-reliever...:)
And so, the moment we got to the battle ground near SJMC, everyone was so fired up and suddenly all the war strategy and guerilla tactics came out of no where. Its like there were so many war veterans in our midst, we made the GI's look bad... After a technical briefing by the marshals, everyone was good to go. Just a couple of basic rules...the usual but important stuff, like dont shoot the marshals, dont shoot your friend at the back of his head from point-blank distances, dont shoot yourself in the head just for fun...etc etc. When we finally got the chance to get our hands on one of those markers (paintball gun), man...it felt so good...feels like home...:)
Got loads of pics for your viewing. Will narrate you through it as we go along this post. Have fun, warlords!
The Band of Brothers...and sisters. Great to have many friends join us for this trip. Of course wat...get to shoot ppl, who doesn't want to? Haha...
Have to attend safety ceramah at the start. Almost 90% are freshies when it comes to Paintball. Just like uni days...great day to fall asleep in class also.
One of our marshall doing the safety briefing. Forgot his name...they all look alike when they put their face mask on. Their biggest concern wasn't only about our safety, but also on their own safety. You never know...some jokers did try to shoot them in the past for no reason.
Ahh...finally geared up and all ready for battle. Those that came with shorts...macho man, I'm telling you. Generally, its not advisable to wear bright/striking colours during the game as it attracts attention easily, as shown by Cmdr. Laura in her super-obvious red outfit!
Guess who? There's only one 'kwai lo' in RR at the moment with brown/blondish hair...
Those eyes look familiar to you? Want your free edition of RR t-shirt, order through him...
Man...check out his mohawk standing out like the KL tower. Makes him so much more vulnerable...
Another fella...see how big his eyes are? Usually they're not...have fun guessing who!
This should be easy for you...not many brown chocolate men around eh...
So obvious who it is...close both eyes and my nose also I can guess who...:)
Now this one has got me wonderin....who in the world is this dude???
Enough of the posing...its time for war! The group was divided into 3 teams. Rules are simple: 2 teams will compete in one round. Last man standing wins. The moment you get hit by the pellet, you're disqualified and have to leave the field. (or if you're smart enough, you can wipe it off fast enough before the marshall spots you...)
These guns certainly do pack a punch, I'm telling you. Might not look much, but it can certainly cause some serious problems if handled wrongly.
And so the battle begins...even though its a team game, at times its every man for himself. Here's Jason Ong looking pretty slick with the marker...there's plenty of shelters all over the pitch. The tough part is picking the right one to establish your attack. Pick a wrong one and you're spotted easily. Game over.
Just look at this fella..halfay fighting still manage to find the time to pose for the camera...Simon Kong!
Here we have team 2 getting ready for action at our starting point. Safety cap off. Safety button realeased. Lock and loaded!
Here we see Team 1 in action. Pretty neat strategy. Move in groups. Take cover and camp, wait till the enemy runs out of ammo and then they charge! Haha...
That's me doing my one-leg kicking run, after an unfortunate incident that occurred in the previous round. With one leg still working fine, I'm not letting go of the opportunity to shoot a few fellas out there...
Check out the determination of our rangers...tahan lasak man...we'll crawl on our bellies if we have to!
Here's the group posing for the camera just before the round starts. All looking innocent and peace-loving. Once it starts, that's another story...
Check out this quartet...all in one line. After playing this game, I began to understand the full meaning of the phrase "I got your back..."
Check out Kevin Chin and the shots taken. Haha...he tried to sneak up on our beloved David Wong, but ended up being pulvarized by him. At least 3 shots to the stomach. And check out that lovely splatter over his eye...hahahahahahhahaha
The final battle was between Team 1 & Team 3. Team 2 was left out of this round because of our consistency...we managed to lose all 4 matches. Now that's what I call being consistent! Try and beat that...heh.
And finally...once the dust has settled, team 1 emerged as the overall champions! That's Leonard, Cmdr. Laura, Jon Lee, Jayson, Jason and Ben. All bunch of crazee paintballers! Respect...
Well, at the end of the day, we all had a great time shooting and lauging and talking about all the stupid stunts we tried to pull off but tak jadi. And how our tactics went totally wrong along the way..and how some were executed perfectly. You might ask...does it hurt being shot? Take a look at the above pic and you'll know the answer...that's a close range shot. That souveneir will last for about 2 weeks.
But that's not all...some got more that they bargained for...actually only one fella la...
After growing up watching inspirational movies like Rambo and Die Hard...its was finally my chance to be like one of these great American in the movies...flying here and there, jumping, falling from buildings, taking fire while diving in mid-air...
John Maclaine...everyone's boyhood hero!
Oooooooooooo....who could forget this dude...who single-handedly destroyed an entire Russian army...what a dreamer...
Well, all I can say is............... I tried. And failed. And it hurt...
Yup, it hurt pretty badly. So much for being a hero eh...haha.
Lesson of the day: Biar mati action, jangan mati accident.
Well, at least I had the action part...haha.
And so, another memorable day comes to a close. Certainly a great outing, and we hope to have another edition somewhere in Dec, after SPM. This time, I'll be prepared. I'll come in a tank.
