Well friends...what a way to start off the week!

Just a quick update...as mentioned in the previous blog post, do keep our dear brother Daniel Ng in prayer as he'll be undergoing surgery on his ankle tomorrow. He sustained the injury during futsal last Sunday with the boys...not that anyone of us gave him a reckless tackle...let's put it this way...he was 'ball-ed' down by the futsal ball. Really nasty stuff eh those little round things?? Anyway, Daniel suffered a dislocated ankle, fibula fracture, and ligament injury. The holy trinity in football injury. Something similar to the injury that Alan Smith sustained against Liverpool in the FA cup match a couple of years ago...:)

Do keep him in prayers as surgery is planned for today. As it stands, his futsal career is on the line. Not sure if he'll be able to kick a ball with his left leg ever again. But thank God still got the right leg...one-leg-kicking! Nevertheless, we wish him all the best, and hope to see him back in action in the futsal court within 2 years time! :) Unless of course if his mum has her way with things...!!

Who says futsal is a friendly game??? The boys giving Daniel the thumbs-up and cheering him on! Well, he's resting comfortably in the ward as you can see. He's been a busy man...already studying hard for his SPM NEXT year. I know of ppl who havent even started studying for their SPM this year!!

Do drop him a get well sms/note/email/snail mail yea? You could also leave a get-well comment here in the blog, which I'm sure he'll be happy to read. He can be contacted at 017-2006068. He's currently warded in Pantai Medical Center (head towards Port Klang and its on your left), level 2. Make him happy...throw him a surprise bday party even though its not his birthday, scare him, have a crutches race with him...just do something to let him know that we're thinking of him!

As I'm writing this post...I got a sms from Daniel at 11.15am 7th Oct 2008, which reads:

Hey ppl! Swt. My surgery pushed to 2molo again! Swelling still not down. Got cases lasting a week. Jus to let a few noe. Thx 4 visiting ystd. God bless!

So I guess we've still got one more night to cheer him up!
